A row of devotees in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on mats during a ritual puja. In the foreground a right hand holds a brass oil lamp (diya) with a lit flame, while another hand rings a small brass bell on the right. Brass plates hold flower petals, kumkum, and offerings, with incense sticks rising from the left, and several other lamps flicker along the white floor. Only hands and backs are visible, with no clear face of any central figure; the scene shows a courtyard session of initiation rites.

A photograph of a puja being prepared on a white marble floor. Several brass plates and small brass lamps stand in rows on maroon and red mats, holding red and pink rose petals, yellow flowers, white cloth, small bowls of white powder, incense sticks and lit oil lamps. Hands of seated people in orange and yellow garments reach over the arrangements to tend the offerings. Partially visible arms and a saffron cloth belong to devotees at the front right, while the scene is otherwise focused on the ritual objects.

A photograph of a ritual puja table in shallow focus. Brass oil lamps with lit flames, a brass lota and small brass vessels, a dish of yellow flowers and fruit, scattered red petals, and lit incense sticks stand on a red cloth. Saffron-orange robes of a person seated at the left edge are partly visible. Background shows more puja setups with lamps and offerings.

Close-up photograph of a ritual puja setup on a red cloth. Brass oil lamps with lit flames, incense sticks burning, brass bowls and a small brass kalasha-style vessel, a brass ritual bell or implement, white camphor-like pieces and small offerings sit on a silver-covered table. In the right foreground, a person in orange saffron robes with hands pressed together in añjali is partially visible. A blue plastic container sits in the background.

Close-up photo of a puja ritual at a row of brass plates. A person's hand, wrapped with a red rudraksha mala and a gold bangle, reaches over a brass tray holding yellow marigold flowers, a small brass deity murti, and pink petals. Nearby lie brass cups, a brass lota and bell, and burning oil lamps on a white cloth. The blurred foreground shows other devotees in white and light blue clothing seated at the same ritual. This looks like a pada puja, a foot-worship ceremony.
