March 13 20132013-03-13A man in profile stands barefoot on a red and blue patterned mat atop a low stone platform, his forehead pressed against the trunk of a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti with gold borders and an orange shawl draped over his left shoulder and bare chest, a gold bead necklace, and a white forehead mark. His eyes are closed and his long dark hair falls down his back. A small pale stone and a lamp-like object sit near his feet. A red boundary wall and gravel are visible behind him. The page does not state that a person is present, and the appearance is not a clear enough match to confirm identity, so this is a devotee in meditative prayer.2013-03-01A photograph of a man standing barefoot on a low stone platform, leaning his head and shoulder against the trunk of a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with red-maroon borders, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and has long dark hair swept back. His hands are pressed together at his chest in a reverent pose. Sandy ground, a low white wall and a tall white pole are visible in the background among green foliage.2011-03-05 +1 copiesJune 06 20132013-06-06May 01 20122012-05-01A barefoot person in a rust-orange and gold-striped wrap stands on a stone platform beside a large banyan tree, leaning the side of the head and one hand against a thick aerial-rooted trunk with eyes closed. He wears a long rudraksha mala across his chest and a red tilak on his forehead, looking downward. A low curved stone bench lines the path, with sandy mounds and a small shrine-like structure visible behind. Another person stands at the far right edge in white. The cues here are a rudraksha mala and saffron robes but the face and presentation are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the figure is described by role as a sannyasi.2011-03-05March 13 20132013-03-13
