Outdoor photo on the wet riverbank steps of the Ganga at Rishikesh during a homa. A long-haired man in an orange-red ochre cloth and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged, palms pressed together, before a small wood fire on the wet ground. Around him, seated devotees in pastel and green clothes fold their hands in prayer, and a brass oil lamp, a plate with a coconut, a bottle of liquid and a small offering bowl sit on the ground. A shirtless man with a pendant necklace and white dhoti stands behind, with other white-clad devotees and bags nearby.2004-06-15June 15 2004 - Himalayan Yatra - Delhi and Rishikesh2004-06-15June 15 2004 - Himalayan Yatra - Delhi and Rishikesh2004-06-15June 15 2004 - Himalayan Yatra - Delhi and Rishikesh2004-06-15June 15 2004 - Himalayan Yatra - Delhi and Rishikesh2004-06-15June 15 2004 - Himalayan Yatra - Delhi and Rishikesh2004-06-15June 15 2004 - Himalayan Yatra - Delhi and Rishikesh2004-06-15June 15 2004 - Himalayan Yatra - Delhi and Rishikesh2004-06-15June 28 20082008-06-28May 22 20062006-05-22A man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits cross-legged on a low wooden platform with eyes closed, hands clasped in his lap, in meditation. He wears a sleeveless saffron-orange robe draped over one shoulder and a long strand of dark rudraksha beads. Behind him, a woman with light hair in a yellow shawl and white clothes sits with eyes closed, and another woman in cream clothes sits further back. The ground is covered with grey ash and charred embers. Some figures in the background appear to be practising meditation on the ashen ground.2010-07-07June 28 20082008-06-28
