Night outdoor scene on bare reddish-brown earth at an ashram gathering. A long line of devotees stands in a row facing right toward an illuminated shrine or ceremonial platform, with a lit umbrella-like canopy and a glowing deity murti area at the right edge. Foreground figures wear saffron-orange garments with gold borders; others wear cream and white dhotis and kurtas. Several people have hands raised in prayer or folded at chest, and a bright lamp glows at the far right where white-clad priests attend the platform. Dark sky above.

A dark outdoor night gathering in which a crowd of devotees stands in rows on bare ground, lit only by a faint spotlight. A man at the far left in white shirt and trousers stands with arms folded. Most of the crowd wear white or pale clothing; a man in the centre wears an orange-yellow shawl over a white kurta and dhoti, and a woman in a yellow-green sari stands near the left. Women in saris and salwar kameez fill the right side, and a small girl in a pink skirt stands in front. A strand of small orange triangular bunting is strung across the background. No single person can be clearly identified as the a person from appearance.

Outdoor evening scene at dusk beneath dark palm trees, with a large group of people standing in a loose semicircle on bare earth. Many women wear orange, red-bordered white, and yellow saris, while men wear white dhotis and shirts, saffron robes, and tan or pink shirts. Several people press their palms together in prayer. On the left, a man in saffron robes with a shaved head stands near a figure in orange robes, and a drum is visible in the middle of the group. Small stone figures and green shrubs line the ground at the left. Several people are visible in the background. The orange-robed figure on the left has a shaved head and a short beard, which does not meet the cue threshold for identification, so no identification is made.

Night outdoor gathering on a dirt ground beneath dark trees, with a crowd of devotees standing and looking upward toward something out of frame. Several men wear white kurta-style clothes and rudraksha-type malas, a woman in an orange saree stands near the center, and a woman in red and maroon sits to the right beside a small child in a blue top. A metal drum sits at the left edge. Lights glow in the background. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so no candidate is marked.

Night photograph of a line of women standing on a dirt ground at an outdoor event, hands pressed together in namaste. Most wear maroon and red-orange sarees with gold borders; one wears orange, another a peach saree, and two older women on the left wear white-and-grey and white salwar kameez with shawls. Some have vertical tilak marks on their foreheads. Dark background, a few lights visible behind the group, and a green leaf at the right edge.

Night photo of a long line of devotees standing in a paved courtyard beside a tall red-and-gold ritual pole with a fringed top. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and grey trousers stands with hands clasped; a woman in a peach sari with maroon border and a woman in teal sari stand nearby. Further along, women in white and orange-red saris and men in white dhotis and orange shirts stand with palms pressed together in namaskar, some holding small offerings. The scene is lit by night lighting with palm fronds visible above.

Night photograph of a line of devotees standing on a red cloth mat outdoors, palms pressed together in anjali mudra. Most wear white and cream saris and dhotis with gold borders; one woman at left wears an orange sari. Several elderly women and a small child in a dark jacket and white dhoti stand at right. Bright floodlights and street lamps light the scene, with a dark sky behind. Context suggests a Thaipusam-type procession gathering.
