A large, mature banyan tree dominates the frame, its broad canopy of dense dark-green leafy branches spreading wide overhead against a pale sky. Many thick aerial roots and trunk-like prop roots hang down and merge into a tangled, grey-brown trunk mass at the centre. The ground beneath is bare red earth bordered by low white concrete edging. A thin white pole stands at the left edge. No people are visible.
