November 20 20082008-11-20A multi-storey building under construction at Aadikailaasa in Bengaluru, its exposed brick walls and white pillars framed by bamboo scaffolding. Several workers in dusty clothes stand on the rooftop parapet and along the upper floors, one climbing the bamboo ladder on the left with a bucket. Bamboo scaffolding is lashed along the front, and several workers in light clothing and dhotis stand on the scaffold planks, applying plaster or working at the upper windows. On the ground in front, potted palm and shrub saplings sit in rows beside white sacks of material, and a lean-to corrugated roof runs along the top. Workers are visible on the left at ground level as well. Potted flowering plants and shrubs line the path, with a street lamp, water tanks and a few trees under an overcast sky. Exposed rebar rises from the roof edges and upper floors, and bamboo planks rest across the upper levels. +1 copiesJuly 29 20052005-07-29Photograph of a multi-storey building under construction, with an unfinished concrete-frame structure of grey breeze-block walls and orange-painted lower floors.
