He stands on a stage beside a large ornate green-and-gold ceremonial structure hung with bells, raising one arm and holding a yellow ball on a stick. Another person's dark hair is visible at the right edge. The setting is a satsang-style stage with a dark curtain behind.2013-03-04A close photograph of a ceremonial silver umbrella (chhatra) held aloft by a hand in a dark sleeve, with a bangle and red thread visible on the wrist. The umbrella has embossed floral scrollwork and hanging bead fringe. Behind it, a blurred figure with dark hair and a second raised arm stands in front of a bright fire or flame on the left and gold-toned ornamental décor and red fabric on the right. No identifiable a person is clearly visible in this frame.2016-12-23A close photograph of a ritual scene with a large bright fire blazing on the left and golden ornamented background on the right. In the foreground a hand holds up a silver-toned ceremonial implement with an engraved, leaf-like blade on a long handle, extended toward the viewer. Behind it, a blurred bare-chested figure with dark hair and a beaded necklace stands in front of the flames, with another arm and wrist visible at the lower left. Bangles and a red-and-black thread are visible on the wrists. The scene suggests a homa or fire ritual with ceremonial objects.2016-12-23Close-up photograph of a devotee's bare upper arm pierced by a lemon impaled on a metal skewer, with the lemon's green peel and a red-and-green pointed tip visible. A hand holds the lemon from below while the skin shows a white powdery mark and a dark shadow of a hand cast across the arm. Blurred figures and dim background suggest a crowded ritual setting, consistent with a lemon-piercing practice at a temple event.2018-01-03July 04 20162016-07-04A close photograph of a devotee's hand holding a brass aarti lamp with a tall flame rising from its shallow dish, lifted against a warm orange and pink blurred background. The person's gold bangle is visible on the wrist, and only part of the head and face is visible at the left edge. The scene suggests an evening lamp offering during a ritual.2012-01-08January 03 20182018-01-03Close side profile photograph of a man with slicked-back dark hair in a low bun, a white sacred ash band across the forehead with a red kumkum dot at the center, and a gold hoop earring. His right hand, at left, raises a gold-toned metal vessel against a gold-textured background, and a gold necklace is visible at the bottom edge. The dark backdrop sets off his face and the glowing gold.2013-03-07February 01 20172017-02-01
