A photograph of a group ceremony where devotees hold lit oil lamps (diyas) in a seated gathering. In the foreground, several women in white ritual clothes with rudraksha malas and white and red forehead markings hold lamps toward the viewer. Behind them, rows of people wear orange and saffron garments and white forehead marks, some with beaded necklaces, while others sit with their hands raised. The setting appears to be a temple or ashram hall with a tiled floor and a small tray of offerings at lower left, consistent with an aarti or puja. No individual in the scene is clearly recognizable as a person; the visible figures are devotees and ritual participants.

A photograph of a seated group of women and girls during a lamp-lit devotional ritual at night. Most wear white or cream clothes with green and gold borders, and many have orange-red shawls draped over their shoulders. Several hold small brass oil lamps with flames, and others hold small brass vessels. Brass and copper pots, a small bell and orange cloth with flowers and offerings lie on the floor in front. A woman in front wearing a white outfit and orange shawl looks forward while holding a lamp, and a woman at right with a red-orange shawl and forehead marking holds a brass vessel. The setting is dim and warm, with flames glowing among the participants.

A photograph of a group of women performing a temple ritual while seated on a mat-covered floor. Most wear orange-saffron garments with rudraksha malas and white sacred ash marks on their foreheads, and several hold lit oil lamps or brass lamps and small brass vessels. Two women in white garments with gold borders sit at the front, one of them raising a lamp; a woman in the foreground with a brown rudraksha mala extends her hand toward a lamp. Small offering dishes, a plastic tub, and small deity figures in the foreground complete the scene, with a tiled hall and a sloped roof visible behind.

A photograph of a seated group of devotees performing a ritual in a hall with a tiled white floor. In the foreground, a woman in a rust-red sari with a rudraksha mala holds a lit oil lamp, and a woman in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala lifts a lamp, with a brass plate of offerings and incense sticks before them. To the right, a woman in a red sari holds a small brass plate with flowers. Behind them, many devotees in white, orange and red garments with white sandalwood or vibhuti markings sit in rows holding lamps and plates, while small oil lamps and offering dishes are arranged on the floor. Their appearance does not clearly match any identifiable a person candidate, so no such candidate is named.

A photograph of a group of devotees seated on red floor mats during a ritual, many holding small lit oil lamps. In the foreground, a woman with grey hair and a white forehead mark wears an orange sari with yellow border and a rudraksha mala, holding a brass plate with flowers and a lamp toward the viewer. Beside her, a woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala sits with a plate of offerings. Behind them, women and men in white clothes, some with red shawls, and a girl in a maroon top hold lamps, with a fire-like flame and brass vessels on the mats. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the scene reads as a devotional puja with lamp offerings.

A group of women seated on the floor performing an aarti with small brass oil lamps held in their hands. Several lamps are lit with flames visible. A woman on the left in an orange saree with a rudraksha-style necklace holds a brass bell. A woman in a black and white printed dress and gold bangles lifts a lit lamp. A woman in a cream saree with a blue beaded necklace holds a lamp and a small bell. A younger woman in a white saree with a yellow shawl holds a lamp in the foreground. Other women in yellow shawls and white clothes continue the ritual behind them. A small brass bell and offering plates sit on the floor. A man in white and orange sits in the background near a white wall. Plain hall setting with a red curtain at the upper right.

Photograph of a group ritual with many women seated closely on the floor, holding lit oil lamps or flames in their hands. Several wear white and cream clothing with red or orange shawls, while others wear orange and red saris. Brass plates, small lamps and offerings are arranged on mats in front of them, and the warm smoky light suggests an evening ceremony such as an aarti or puja. The women appear to be devotees performing a collective lamp ritual. No identifiable a person candidate is clearly visible in this frame.
