A photograph of a devotional gathering indoors with red curtains behind. A smiling man with swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, gold earrings and a long garland of red and white beads with a gold-bead necklace wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulders and extends his right hand in a blessing gesture toward devotees. Several men in white shirts and dhotis stand in front of him with hands folded and palms pressed together, one holding a rudraksha mala. A older man with white sacred ash markings on his forehead wears a saffron waist cloth and white shirt. A bare-chested man on the right with white ash markings on his arm stands near a small wooden offering box. Several people are visible in the scene.2013-05-16November 03 20132013-11-03Photograph of a satsang-style moment indoors with a warm, cream-toned hall behind. On the right, a smiling man with swept-back dark hair, an orange-saffron shawl over his shoulders, and a long necklace of red and gold beads plus a gold-toned chain, is placing his hand on the head of a seated devotee in glasses and a white shirt. Several other men in white shirts stand to the left with hands folded in namaste, faces turned toward the scene. The gold beads, red garland and saffron cloth are the most prominent colours. Appearance cues (swept-back hair, saffron shawl, ornate beaded necklace) are consistent with a probable Swamiji presence, so the person is labelled Swamiji (probable) in the appearance-based sense only.2013-05-28August 23 20112011-08-23Indoor hall with a gold-and-red throne visible at the back and white ceiling fans overhead. On the right, a saffron-clad figure with swept-back hair, a vibhuti marking on the forehead, a gold-toned garland of rudraksha-style beads and a gold-bordered saffron shawl extends a hand in blessing toward devotees. On the left, several men in white and striped shirts stand with palms pressed together in anjali, with a devotee bowing forward. Other people in white kurtas and a woman in pink stand behind, and a person in saffron clothing is visible further back. Satsang or darshan setting.2013-09-25A photograph inside a bright, pale-pink hall with tall windows and hanging colourful pillar decorations. A long-haired man in a white dhoti with a wide gold border and a gold-bordered shawl over his shoulder, wearing rudraksha malas, a gold chain and a turquoise bead necklace, smiles as he places his right hand on the head of a young woman in a white top with her palms joined in prayer. Several other people stand nearby: a woman in a teal and black top at left, another young woman with dark hair, and men in white dhotis with sandalwood-marked foreheads at right, one holding a silver tray of fruit. Lamps and fruit offerings are visible at the lower right.2011-02-14Photo of a ritual blessing line indoors. A standing figure with long swept-back black hair, a red bindi, orange-red beaded necklaces, gold bangles and a white sari with a red border touches the head of a man bowing before them, while holding a sheet of paper and a tray with a gold-coloured object. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand in line behind, with a golden decorative backdrop and red banners in the background. Visible cues are a rudraksha-style orange mala and ornate jewellery, so the figure may be a person performing a blessing.2011-08-23November 06 20112011-11-06May 29 20132013-05-29A photo of a bare-chested sannyasi in a rust-orange wrap with a heavy gold-bead necklace and rudraksha armbands, pressing his right palm to the forehead of a man in a white shirt. The robed figure has long swept-back dark hair, a small red bindi, and a striped sacred mark on his forehead. Two other men in white and cream shirts stand close behind, and a figure in white is partly visible at the edge. Recipient and blessing gesture suggest darshan or blessing, with a red curtain in the background. Swamiji (probable) is shown in person giving blessings, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron-orange wrap, and ornate gold and rudraksha adornment.2013-07-15A photograph of a smiling man in an orange saffron robe with a gold-edged dhoti, wearing multiple gold chains, a large rudraksha-style pendant and gold armlets, with white vibhuti stripes and a red kumkum dot on his forehead. He extends his right hand in blessing over the head of a young man in a white shirt who stands with palms pressed together and eyes closed. Several other people in white clothes stand with folded hands and bowed heads behind them, and a woman in a white sari is at the right edge. Ceiling fans, fluorescent lights and a hall with a backdrop of red curtains and a framed picture are visible. The orange-robed man has distinctive ornate gold jewellery and saffron clothing consistent with a person appearance, shown in a blessing role.2012-10-04May 14 20132013-05-14
