Photo of a ritual blessing line indoors. A standing figure with long swept-back black hair, a red bindi, orange-red beaded necklaces, gold bangles and a white sari with a red border touches the head of a man bowing before them, while holding a sheet of paper and a tray with a gold-coloured object. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand in line behind, with a golden decorative backdrop and red banners in the background. Visible cues are a rudraksha-style orange mala and ornate jewellery, so the figure may be a person performing a blessing.2011-08-23A bald, light-skinned man in a white kurta stands with bowed head while a long-haired person in a red-orange sash and dense beaded garlands places a hand on his scalp and holds a sheet of paper. The person wears rudraksha-style beads, bangles and a red bindi, with a pale-yellow garment beneath the sash. Beside them a man in a white shirt with a black beaded necklace stands with hands folded. A man in saffron clothing and another in white stand nearby, and a tray of small items sits at lower right. Behind them hang framed portraits on a cream wall, and a projector screen and red curtain fill the background.2012-04-05 +2 copiesA photograph of an indoor hall in which a person with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a rust-brown garment, a multi-strand gold necklace, and a long garland of red, yellow and white flowers, reaches out to touch the forehead of a devotee. The person's wrist bears a gold bangle and a red bead bracelet is visible on the right. Several men stand in a line with palms pressed together in namaste; one wears a red-and-white striped shirt and another a white shirt. On the far right a shaved-headed man in a bare chest wears white tripundra markings and a rudraksha mala. Ceiling lights and a faint saffron-clad figure appear in the background. The central figure has distinctive long hair, ornate gold necklaces and a garland, consistent with a person blessing devotees.2013-07-21April 14 20122012-04-14September 05 20132013-09-05 +1 copiesOctober 30 20112011-10-30July 01 20132013-07-01September 13 20132013-09-13A photograph of an indoor sarva darshan blessing in a hall with a warm-lit backdrop. A man with long dark hair, wearing a white dhoti-style garment with a gold border, red and turquoise beaded malas, and a gold chain, smiles while pressing his hand on the forehead of a bald man in a white hooded sweatshirt who has his palms pressed together in namaste. Behind them, a man in white with rudraksha beads and a lanyard watches, and a man in orange robes holds a silver tray with gold items at right. Two other onlookers stand at left and centre, one in a grey jacket with hands folded. A pink wall and a striped cloth hang in the background.2011-02-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a blessing at an indoor hall with pink walls and decorated pillars. A man with long swept-back black hair, wearing an orange saffron robe, red and gold garlands and a rudraksha mala, places his right hand on the head of a man in a white shirt who bows with hands folded. Nearby a bald attendant in orange holds a silver tray with gold-coloured items. Several men in white shirts and white dhotis stand around, some with hands joined in prayer. Swamiji (probable): the robed man with long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha mala is the blessing giver.2011-02-11
