Night procession scene lit by warm lamplight. In the centre, a bald man in glasses wears a saffron-orange robe and a long rudraksha-style mala, with bangles on his arms and his head bowed slightly as he walks. Around him, several other monastics in orange robes move along a road, and a flaming torch glows in the background beside a parked vehicle. On the right, people in white ceremonial garments stand near a tall ornamental parasol with orange and gold trim. The mood is ceremonial, with a ratha-like procession setting. The page suggests a person is present, but the visible appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm, so the central figure is described by role only.2016-10-30October 30 20162016-10-30October 30 20162016-10-30February 14 20162016-02-14March 10 20132013-03-10Night procession photographed in warm orange-red light from a nearby lamp. Several shaved-headed men in saffron-orange dhotis and wraps, many wearing rudraksha malas, move closely together and face various directions. A tall ceremonial standard with an ornate multicoloured top rises in the background, and a small flame glows beside it. Foreground figures are partly turned away, and one man near the centre has a shawl and a long rudraksha mala.2016-10-30June 03 20122012-06-03Evening ritual at a pandal with banana leaves and palm fronds overhead. A standing man in saffron-orange robes and a matching hood, with gold beaded necklaces and bangles, holds a lit flame on a brass lamp and performs aarti. Several seated participants in white clothing with yellow shawls surround him; one holds a brass plate of offerings, and another plays a round frame drum. A microphone stands at left, and smoke drifts through the scene. A man in red-orange garments with a beaded necklace sits near the microphone.2009-09-25September 16 20152015-09-16October 30 20162016-10-30Night photo of saffron-robed sannyasis walking barefoot along a dirt path past a temple-style pillared structure lit by a bright lamp. In the centre, a man in an orange-and-yellow-bordered dhoti and shawl wears a beaded headband and a long necklace of white beads. Beside him, a figure in an orange robe with a headband walks behind, and to the right a bare-chested man in an orange garment with yellow borders and rudraksha bracelet looks on. A man in white with gold-bordered dhoti, a rudraksha mala and a bracelet walks at right-centre. Another man in white stands behind them, and a uniformed police officer in khaki appears in the background.2012-05-21February 11 20132013-02-11
