A photograph of a staircase procession inside a building, with a man in white kurta carrying a silver tray holding a coconut, green leaves and offerings at the front. Behind him a man in orange robes and a garland of white flowers carries a large framed portrait of a bearded-free figure with long dark hair, wearing a crown-like headpiece, rudraksha-style beads and an orange garment; the framed portrait is garlanded with flowers and red blossoms. Other men in white and a woman in a cream sari follow along the stairs, with a hand visibly folded in greeting at the lower left. Visible people: about six.2010-08-15February 10 20092009-02-10August 15 20102010-08-15 +1 copiesAugust 15 20102010-08-15 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple-style ritual scene. A man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair and multiple rudraksha malas stands centre-right, facing a row of men in white shirts and trousers who have their palms pressed together in greeting. On the right, a shaved-headed priest in orange clothing holds a silver tray of offerings. Behind them, saffron and white fabric hangs from the ceiling beside a wall with a decorative pillar, and a few other people stand in the background.2010-10-20A photograph in a home shrine room. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a white garment with an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala, sits cross-legged on the floor and holds out a brass plate of flowers and fruit. A second man in a white shirt bends forward with his head lowered to receive it. Before them stands a framed portrait on an ornate chair-like seat, with a red cushion, flowers and fruit arranged on the floor, a small oil lamp burning at the left edge, and a shelf of deity figurines in the background. The seated man matches the probable Swamiji cues of swept-back hair, orange shawl and rudraksha mala, and is presenting the offering in a puja-type ritual, so this is marked probable. Two physical people are visible.2007-10-01August 15 20102010-08-15 +1 copiesOctober 09 20062006-10-09A photograph of a street-side procession where an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds a silver tray with a flower and a small vessel, offering it to a younger shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes wearing a rudraksha mala. Several other men stand behind in white and yellow clothing, with a vehicle and street scene in the background.2009-02-13October 01 20072007-10-01October 16 20112011-10-16A nighttime outdoor scene at an open doorway with string lights overhead. A long-haired man in cream white clothes with a golden-bordered shawl stands barefoot, hands pressed together in namaste. Facing him, a man in white dhoti and shirt holds a silver tray with flowers and a red-and-white offering, while another man in a white shirt and striped dhoti stands at left with hands folded. Several men in casual and white clothes stand behind, some wearing neck beads. The scene resembles a welcoming or puja moment at a doorway.2006-02-22 +1 copies
