A seated figure with hair pulled into a low bun, wearing a rust-orange cloth and a rudraksha mala, places a hand on the forehead of a bald man in a white embroidered kurta who holds his own hand up in front of his face. A gold-coloured ornate object sits in the foreground. Behind them, a man in white with a pale ID badge stands near a red curtain, another man in orange wears a white shawl, and a young man in a striped polo shirt watches at right. A man with a red tilak on his forehead sits in a white dhoti with gold trim beside the seated figure. The blessing appears to be a forehead touch during darshan or satsang.2013-09-30September 30 20132013-09-30September 13 20132013-09-13September 30 20132013-09-30A photograph of a saffron-robed figure with hair tied back in a bun and white vibhuti marks on the forehead, seated on a throne-like seat with a gilded lion-head armrest, extending his right arm to place his hand on the head of a man in a white shirt. The recipient holds his left hand open in front, palm outward, as a second bystander in white clothing with a mala sits blurred behind. The background is a mottled cream-and-pink textured wall.2014-01-05A man with a bun, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti-style garment and a long brown rudraksha mala, stands at left with his right hand raised in blessing, touching the forehead of a young man in a white collared shirt with rolled sleeves. Behind them a woman in a white sari with an orange border and a red-and-gold bangle-decorated arm stands near a red curtain, and several men in casual shirts watch. A gold ceremonial object is visible at lower left. Indoors, with a white wall and tiled floor.2013-09-30A photograph of a diksha-style blessing in an indoor hall. A man with a shaved head and a tilak mark on his forehead wears a crimson and gold robe, rudraksha mala beads and gold bangles, and reaches forward with his right arm extended, palm open toward the head of a seated devotee. The devotee, in a white shirt with short dark hair, bows forward with his hands raised to his head to receive the blessing. Behind them a seated woman in white with a dark beaded mala watches calmly, and a partially visible man in white sits at the right edge. A brocade-patterned wall and a projection screen stand in the background, and a gold object is visible at the lower left. The blessing figure has a tilak and no clearly distinctive long hair or crown, so identity is uncertain.2014-01-05September 30 20132013-09-30December 10 20132013-12-10November 02 20142014-11-02A photograph of a bare-chested figure in an orange-red wrap with a gold-and-yellow ornamental collar, hair swept back in a bun, and a white tilak on the forehead, pressing his palm to the forehead of a man in a white shirt. The man has his other hand raised in a blessing gesture and wears a striped shawl and a red wrist thread. Behind them, two women in white sit with a textured stone wall and a wooden panel in the background. The blessing gesture suggests darshan or a blessing ritual. Swamiji (probable): the bare-chested figure in orange-red wrap with ornate gold collar and swept-back hair is the candidate, performing a blessing on a devotee.2014-01-04September 13 20132013-09-13
