A bare-chested man on the left with rudraksha malas and beaded bracelets holds out a small folded paper or card, and his hand is reaching toward an outstretched hand on the right, which wears gold bangles and a bracelet. Behind him stands another bare-chested man with rudraksha malas. The background shows a red velvet cushion, an ornate gold-carved throne or pedestal, a red cloth, and a small bottle. The visible men have no clearly distinctive presentation cues beyond malas, so the central figure cannot be confirmed as the a person from appearance.2016-09-28January 06 20182018-01-06September 28 20162016-09-28January 06 20182018-01-06May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesClose photograph of two pairs of hands passing a small gold object, possibly a pen-shaped or ornamental item, between them. One woman wears a red garment with gold bangles on her wrist and a white identification badge hanging on a lanyard. The other person wears white clothing and a thin bracelet on the wrist. Background is soft and blurred with white and red fabric.2016-11-12October 22 20152015-10-22 +2 copiesA photograph of a seated figure in rust-red and brown robes resting an arm on a red velvet bolster set on a gold-trimmed throne-like seat. The figure wears gold bangles and a dark beaded bracelet, and bare feet are visible at lower right. A younger man in orange-trimmed white clothing, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, kneels at left, extending both hands to receive a small gold-coloured packet or card from the seated figure's hand. Behind them stand additional robed attendants, one holding a wooden implement, against a deep red curtain and an ornate gold panel. The figure's appearance is uncertain, so the seated person is described by role only.2016-09-28Close-up photograph of two pairs of hands clasped together, one set wearing a gold ring and layered gold and beaded bangles over saffron-orange clothing, the other set wearing a red thread bracelet and a brown beaded mala wrist. The orange fabric fills the frame, with a blurred metal plate and red and gold textiles in the background. The image shows a ritual gesture of blessing or transmission between two people, with no legible text or identifiable face visible.2016-10-29
