The seated figure holds a silver tray with dark granules and wears a beaded necklace and a red bindi. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with a maroon border and a dark-haired woman in a beige sari look on, and a small brass lamp with flowers sits on the floor in the foreground. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has swept-back hair, a red bindi, saffron robes and a beaded necklace on a throne, which are the qualifying cues here.2013-11-19November 19 20132013-11-19Photo 11735803November 20 20132013-11-20September 26 20132013-09-26A photograph of a devotional blessing in a ceremonial room. A gilded deity murti with a crown stands on a table in front of them, beside a copper vessel. Behind them, a seated priest in white with a white forehead mark and rudraksha beads watches, and standing devotees in white and orange clothing are visible in the background. Behind them stands a row of people in orange scarves and white clothes, and a red velvet throne with gold trim sits at left beside a potted plant.2012-12-28March 31 20132013-03-31A photograph of a ritual blessing indoors. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, a white forehead marking, a trimmed moustache, and a gold necklace over a rust-red shawl places his right hand on the head of a bespectacled man in a white kurta and rudraksha mala. The recipient raises one hand in greeting and smiles. Around them, several men in white kurtas and rudraksha malas stand watching, and another man in a rust-coloured cloth with long hair is partly visible at right. In the foreground is a brass figure of a goddess with an elaborate crown and necklace, beside a copper vessel and a brass lamp with a domed lid. The setting appears to be a devotional gathering with a blessing being given.2017-06-18June 18 20132013-06-18 +1 copies
