He smiles as he places his right hand on the forehead of an older man with white hair, who stands before him with palms pressed together in namaste. The older man wears a white shirt, an orange shawl and a rudraksha-style mala, and a wristwatch is visible. Behind them a gold-carved wall with decorative lattice panels and elephant reliefs forms the setting.2017-08-11October 18 20082008-10-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a shaved-headed man with a white horizontal tilak and red bindi, wearing red robes, a white flower garland and a rudraksha mala, seated on a red-upholstered gilded throne with ornate golden carved backrest and a golden lion-head armrest. He smiles while a bearded older man in a white shirt kneels before him, bowing and holding his hands together while the seated man rests a hand on them. A standing person in white clothing is partly visible at the right edge. A dark curtain forms the background. The seated man is described as a person by the appearance cues of the red robes, rudraksha mala and garland; the kneeling man is a devotee offering respect in a gesture of seeking blessing.2014-06-03September 28 20142014-09-28April 04 20082008-04-04August 11 20172017-08-11June 02 20142014-06-02September 06 20142014-09-06September 28 20142014-09-28A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-red robe and a red bindi, with long dark wavy hair, raising one hand in blessing while resting the other hand on the head of an older man kneeling before him. The kneeling man wears a white shirt, white dhoti with a gold border, a white towel draped over his shoulder, and a gold bangle, and bows with his hands pressed to the seated figure's leg. The seated figure sits on an ornate gold throne with repoussé floral carving and a red velvet cushion. Behind them hang yellow, orange and red marigold garlands and green foliage. The seated figure's appearance is consistent with a distinctive orange robe, long swept hair and bindi, but the page does not indicate that he is present, so the identity remains uncertain. The scene shows a blessing given to a devotee.2008-10-18 +1 copiesSeptember 21 20142014-09-21
