A large flame rises from a square stone fire pit decorated with red flower petals, and a brass vessel of dark liquid sits at its edge. Two priests sit cross-legged in white dhotis and draped cloths, one wearing a checked shawl and gold bangles; one is seen with hands together. On the left, a tray holds yellow and red flower garlands and marigolds. A partially visible person is at the right edge, and a faint Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham logo appears in the upper left corner.2018-01-05A brick-lined homa fire pit burns brightly at the centre of a red-floored hall, ringed with yellow and red flower garlands, scattered petals and bowls of offerings. Two men stand behind the fire wearing white dhotis with gold-bordered edges, their lower bodies visible as they perform the yagna. A brass bowl and a small brass ladle sit near the flames, with a silver vessel and a brass pot in the foreground. The fire is in a fire-pit homa setting, with banana leaves and garlands along the bricks.2018-04-14April 14 20182018-04-14 +1 copiesA photograph of a homa fire burning in a brick-edged fire pit on a layered stone base, with white ritual lines painted on the stonework. Marigold and red flower petals are scattered over the bricks. Behind it, a partially visible person in white dhoti and a wristwatch reaches toward the fire, holding an object. On the right stands a low table draped with a yellow and red floral cloth, bearing green coconuts, an orange fruit, and a brass plate of offerings. Striped cloths cover the floor on the left, with a bowl of grains at the lower left. This appears to be a homa or yagna fire ritual.2017-06-23September 19 20152015-09-19August 22 20172017-08-22May 12 20132013-05-12
