A standing man in a white dhoti with gold borders bows forward and touches the statue's head in reverence. The statue sits on a black pedestal under a silver arch carved with floral motifs, surrounded by leafy trees. The statue is a depiction, not a living person, and no printed name is visible.2010-09-22Outdoor photograph of a man in white ritual dress with a red-bordered cloth worn over one shoulder and draped at the waist, standing bare-chested with palms pressed together in namaskar before a black stone deity murti with multiple arms. The murti sits in a white arched shrine framed by a yellow-orange cloth backdrop, with a green sash and garland, on a base heaped with red flowers and small brass items. Trees and dappled greenery fill the background. The man wears gold beaded bracelets and a beaded necklace and has his hair tied in a bun. The shrine has a white arched stone frame enclosing a dark stone deity murti dressed in an orange cloth and garlanded with orange and yellow marigold strings. A heap of red kumkum or powder lies at the base in front. The man has a forehead marking and his hair is tied up. A second figure is partly visible at the right edge. The setting appears to be an open-air shrine in greenery.2011-09-14Outdoor photo beside a large tree. On the left, a long-haired man in orange and yellow ceremonial cloth, with a bare upper arm, bangles and a flower garland over one shoulder, stands in profile looking toward a shrine. On the right, a dark stone deity murti with multiple arms sits within a white carved arch backed by green fabric with gold motifs. The murti wears red cloth, a red-and-gold headband, layered beaded necklaces, and a garland of orange and yellow flowers. Red offerings, a small bench and a plaque sit at its base. The person appears to be Swamiji (probable), identified by long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron ceremonial dress.2013-07-02October 06 20112011-10-06A standing man in saffron-orange robes with bare shoulder and arm, hands pressed together in namaste before a dark stone deity murti in an arched silver-framed shrine.
