Outdoor photograph beneath leafy trees showing a man with bare upper body and a green silk dhoti-style garment with gold border standing with palms pressed together in prayer, eyes closed, facing a shrine. The shrine has a white arched stone frame enclosing a dark stone deity murti dressed in an orange cloth and garlanded with orange and yellow marigold strings. A heap of red kumkum or powder lies at the base in front. The man has a forehead marking and his hair is tied up. A second figure is partly visible at the right edge. The setting appears to be an open-air shrine in greenery.2011-09-14Outdoors under a large spreading tree, a standing man in an orange saffron robe and orange dhoti stands with palms pressed together in namaste before a black stone deity murti set in a silver-framed arched shrine. The murti is draped in red cloth and garlanded with yellow and orange flowers, and a red sindoor-covered stone mound sits in front. Nearby are a snake-like dark stone with dots, a white cloth offering and a small stone platform, with sunlit trees and a glass-topped step in the foreground. The man wears a rudraksha-style mala and bangles and has his hair tied up; no clear a person features are discernible enough to confirm identity.2011-11-21A photograph of an outdoor shrine beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A standing man in orange saffron clothes with a rudraksha mala around his neck and a white cloth on his left arm stands on a concrete path with palms joined in anjali, facing a black stone statue. The seated black stone statue, dressed in an orange cloth with garlands of marigolds and an orange head wrap, sits on a dark pedestal beneath a green draped canopy and an ornate silver arch. The pedestal and surrounding base are smeared with orange-red kumkum, and a small brass lamp sits nearby. A plain placard stands on the stone base. Earthen ground, a low wall and a concrete platform complete the scene.2011-06-26October 06 20112011-10-06November 01 20112011-11-01January 23 20132013-01-23September 28 20112011-09-28April 08 20132013-04-08Outdoors among trees, a man stands barefoot on a black stone platform with palms pressed together in namaskar. He wears a rust-orange dhoti with yellow borders over a bare chest, and a beaded mala hangs around his neck. Beside him a shrine holds a black stone deity murti dressed in yellow cloth with a yellow head covering and red garlands, set in an arched white frame with a green curtain. In front of the shrine is a mound of red offerings, with a small stone seat and a small rug on the ground. The man is a devotee at the shrine, and the page indicates a person's presence but his appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2013-05-13Outdoor shrine under dense tree canopy: a black stone deity murti seated within a white carved arched niche backed by a green draped cloth, adorned with a yellow shawl, white and red flower garlands and a beaded necklace. A heap of red-painted stones or offerings surrounds the base, with a small brass lamp and a small metal vessel in front. A single standing man on the right, bare-chested with a blue and white dhoti and silver beaded necklace and bangles, presses his palms together in namaskar, facing the shrine. A dirt path and low walls frame the scene.2011-12-02Outdoor shrine under trees where a dark stone deity murti is seated within a white carved arch, draped in a pink cloth and wreathed with orange and yellow marigold garlands, with a green backdrop behind it.
