Night-time outdoor procession with a decorated golden ratha or palanquin edge at left, its hanging tassels in yellow, green and red. A bald man in white clothing and an orange shawl holds a flaming camphor or aarti lamp toward the front, while others in white and orange stand around, many with faces and clothes stained with coloured powder. Several people press palms together in namaste. A cameraman with a camera stands at right beside a woman holding a flaming torch. Building facades and trees fill the dark background.2011-12-15December 23 20062006-12-23Night procession on a dirt road lit by a glowing illuminated ratha or chariot shrine with a red and multicoloured canopy and striped fabric decorations.
