Many people wear white or cream clothing, with women in white and cream saris and some in yellow or red-bordered sarees. Several men in white kurtas and dhotis move among them, and a few carry orange and yellow items near the front. Two white hanging ornaments hang from the bamboo frame. Many men in white dhotis and white shirts walk across the field and gather near a row of tents with red, maroon and purple striped canopies and white banners. Some men wear darker shirts and trousers. Behind the field stands a multi-storey beige building with rows of windows, flanked by green trees and a palm. A green plastic drum is visible at right. No individual can be identified as a person with confidence from this view.2007-12-12July 07 20092009-07-07 +1 copiesAerial view of a festival procession on a dusty ground at a religious ashram site. Many devotees in white and cream traditional clothes, with some women in saris of red, blue and green, walk in a long column past a red draped stage and white-and-patterned barricades. Orange flags with blue emblems are carried aloft, and decorated umbrellas in red, green and yellow mark the procession. Small palanquin-style shrine structure with decorations sits at the upper left, and a dark black pillar or lingam-like monument stands on the red-draped platform. Palm plants, trees and distant hills are visible in the hazy background.2008-12-31A wide photograph of an open dry red-earth field in front of a row of temporary tent structures with maroon and red draped fabric, white tablecloths on low tables, and a row of small coloured bunting along the top edge. About eight men in white dhotis and white shirts stand near the tents, one in dark clothing among them, while a yellow tipper truck and a small white car sit on the left. Tall trees and a multi-storey white building stand behind, under a hazy sky. The scene appears to be preparation of an outdoor event site, with a few people visible and most of the field empty.2007-12-11January 13 20152015-01-13December 31 20082008-12-31Wide photograph of an open dusty ground in front of a long temporary pavilion with a corrugated metal roof and grey panel walls. A red carpet runs across the earth toward a red-curtained entrance. Many people in white clothing walk around the grounds, some in orange and yellow garments near a red vehicle. A white SUV is parked at the right, and a small table with chairs and a white cloth sits near the carpet's end.
