Description

Healers Day - Day 9 began very early with a grand procession leading to the temple at the ashram, followed by fire walking. Thousands of devotees coming from different parts of the country and abroad gathered to catch a glimpse of the Master looking regal and majestic with the trishul in his hand blessing each and every person individually. Seven of the senior disciples were given Kashaya initiation by the Master, where He offered them full Kavi (orange) robes. 108 Sapthayagam was performed followed by cultural performances by devotees. The Master later welcomed the guests of honor Swami Sri Sri Madhusudhananandapuri from Omkar ashram, Representative of Jagadguru Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji of Adi Chunchanagiri Mutt, Dr. Shanthaveera Swamiji of Kolada mutt, Sri Sri Shivaruthra Maha Swamigalu from Beli Mutt, Sri Taralabalu Jagadguru Dr. Shivamurthy Shivacharya Maha Swamiji from Brihanmath, Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Shivarathri Desikendra Maha Swamiji from Suttur Mutt and MLA from Ramanagar, C. M. Lingappa. The guests of honor in their address to the large gathering expressed their pleasure in being there and also amazement at the amount of work that has been done by the Master within a short period of time.

The evening was filled with cultural shows and performances.
