Beside him a standing man in white dhoti and shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala, bends over a square fire pit lined with brick-coloured blocks and yellow marigold petals, where flames burn above a copper vessel and ladle. Standing behind him are devotees in orange and white robes and a woman in a green saree, all with hands folded. In front are silver plates, a pot, incense sticks and a banana-leaf offering; to the right a gourd-shaped object is garlanded with yellow marigolds and draped with a beaded necklace, set in a wicker basket. The scene appears to be an outdoor puja or ritual. The young man's identity is not established by appearance here, so no a person candidate is asserted.2016-09-15A young boy with a shaved head and a rudraksha mala around his neck kneels on a red carpet, bending forward to touch the feet of a seated figure in rust-brown robes. He wears a white dhoti with a gold border and bare upper body, and a beaded bracelet on his wrist. Beside him stands a person in orange-saffron robes, and in the background other people in colourful traditional dress. An ornate silver footstool with engraved patterns rests in front of the seated figure. The setting appears to be a temple or ceremonial hall during a pada-puja style gesture of reverence.2018-04-14A temple hall with a striped red floor and pillars painted in bright patterns. In the foreground a bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair and a reddish-brown dhoti stands with palms pressed together, bowing toward a decorated seat draped in gold and orange silk with a purple cloth, garlanded with pink flowers and a green-and-white garland. Beside him, several men in orange robes with white forehead markings hold offering trays and stand with hands folded. Two men in white dhotis and shirts stand with folded hands at right, and a cameraman in orange robes films at left. A silver vessel, brass lamp and flower offerings sit on a low table. The bowing figure with distinctive long hair and adornments matches the page's a person reference, so the appearance-based label applies.2018-05-30
