The priest on the left, with long hair and white ash markings on his arms, pours from a small vessel. The priest in the centre wears a rudraksha mala and red-brown bangles and holds a ladle. Behind them, a seated figure in a red-brown robe sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne. Silver plates, bowls, a brass kalasha-style pot, marigolds, a small cup and a folded blue cloth hold offerings. A fire burns in a yellow-brick fire pit in the foreground, with a small oil lamp and brass cups near the carved wooden door at right, and a decorated kalasha with mango leaves and coconuts on a tray. The man on the throne has long hair and a crown-like headpiece; the attendants are shirtless or in orange wraps with rudraksha malas.2018-04-11May 29 20182018-05-29 +1 copiesMay 10 20182018-05-10 +1 copiesSeptember 15 20162016-09-15 +1 copiesFebruary 15 20172017-02-15May 02 20172017-05-02A photograph of a homa fire pit in an outdoor ritual setting.
