A photograph taken at dusk of a ritual exchange in an open courtyard. A shaved-headed man in a white dhoti with a maroon-bordered cloth and a rudraksha mala holds a silver plate and bends toward a young child in a purple embroidered outfit wearing a yellow marigold garland. A woman in a white top and orange shawl bends forward beside him, and another person in white stands at left. The man has a white forehead band and appears to be a priest in white ritual clothes; the presentation cues are insufficient for identification, so the role is given as priest. Plastic chairs and a red pillar are visible in the background.2012-04-30December 21 20132013-12-21November 18 20152015-11-18September 05 20172017-09-05 +1 copiesDecember 21 20132013-12-21Night outdoor puja scene. Above, a lit shrine shows a deity murti. The man in white dhoti with gold border and white markings on arms and forehead tends brass vessels and a flame, while the two others wear orange saffron garments; one faces away showing a red-bordered orange cloth and rudraksha mala. Offerings sit on the ground including a basket of fruit, yellow plastic bags, and flower petals.
