Garlands of yellow and orange marigolds and dark red flowers wrap its base. Two men in saffron-orange robes perform a flag-hoisting ritual: the taller man on the left, with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala, holds a rope and a brass tray, while a shaven-headed man on the right raises one hand toward the sky. Other figures in white stand at the edge of the frame.2011-03-05March 05 20112011-03-05 +1 copiesA copper flagstaff with ornately carved base, garlanded with yellow and white flowers and dark leaves, stands on a red-orange platform beneath coconut palms.
