A standing man in a rust-red and saffron-bordered dhoti and shawl, with a dark rudraksha-style mala around his neck, grips two orange ropes hanging from a tall copper temple bell pillar. The ornate copper pillar has a carved tree motif, a dome-shaped finial, and a deeply carved lotus-petal base. Behind him, palm trees fill the background, and a seated person in red-orange clothing is partly visible at the right edge. The man is bare-chested apart from the wrapped cloth and appears to be ringing or setting the bell.2013-09-11September 11 20132013-09-11August 31 20132013-08-31September 11 20132013-09-11August 31 20132013-08-31October 18 20102010-10-18 +2 copiesOctober 18 20102010-10-18September 11 20132013-09-11A man stands on a raised platform outdoors, pulling an orange-gold rope upward with one hand while the other hand holds the rope lower down. He wears a rust-red unstitched cloth draped over his shoulder and wrapped around his waist with broad gold borders, and a brown beaded rudraksha-style necklace around his neck. Palm trees and greenery form the background. At the lower right, another person's hand holds the rope near a bundle of dried straw fixed to an orange-and-white flag or banner. Carved stone architecture is visible at the left edge.2013-09-11September 11 20132013-09-11A photograph of a copper flag mast decorated with yellow and maroon flower garlands and a carved tree panel, with a rope tied around its base. Beside it stands a young man in saffron-orange robes with a dark rudraksha mala around his neck and a red tilak on his forehead, holding a rope and tying it while palm trees and sunlight fill the background. The scene suggests a flag hoisting ritual.2011-03-05January 18 20152015-01-18
