Multicoloured garlands drape from the arch to the feet. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a small brass lamp and a kalasha sit on a white cloth at the base. A gilded lotus-shaped pedestal supports the figure, with a small figure in white and gold dhoti before it. Red and patterned rugs cover the floor, and the scene shows a murti rather than living people.December 16 20182018-12-16Photo 11724010 +2 copiesAugust 24 20182018-08-24A richly gilded shrine interior with an ornate golden throne-like altar at the centre, topped by a decorative canopy.
