The deity wears a red turban, blue and gold silk garment, a gold waist belt, layered gold and pearl necklaces, and holds a trident-like staff and a conch-shaped object. Red, yellow, white and purple flower garlands hang from the figure and fall to a kalasha-like base at the front on a red rock platform with scattered petals.2017-10-12 +1 copiesA photograph of an outdoor shrine beneath a large tree. A dark stone murti of a seated sage in orange cloth stands within an ornate silver arch, adorned with a silver chest pendant and garlands of red, yellow, white and green flowers. In front, a smaller orange-draped figure or linga-form is garlanded with white and red flowers and a silver necklace. A raised circular platform of red-painted stones with a black-and-white border surrounds the shrine. Brass vessels and a small metal lamp sit at the edges, and blue cloth lies on the ground. No living people are visible.2006-10-06
