The seated figure wears a maroon and orange robe, a rudraksha-style necklace, and garlands of yellow and red flowers, and a large gold cloth drapes over the throne. A bare-chested attendant in front holds a white fan-like whisk and a gold ceremonial object near the float. Passengers sit at the float's rear, and white tents and green trees line the scene. The figure is a statue or depiction on the float; the appearance is not a clear a person match, so no identification is made.2016-12-16May 28 20182018-05-28 +1 copiesSeptember 20 20182018-09-20Photo 11724258Night photograph of a decorated palanquin-style shrine with an ornate multicoloured fringed canopy overhead. A large seated murti, dressed in silver-white embellished garments with a red turban and an orange-and-yellow marigold garland, sits in a red and gold arched frame on a green silk-draped base. In the left foreground a man with long dark matted hair and a bare upper body, wearing an orange cloth, raises a white feather whisk toward the murti. Strings of orange flowers hang from the platform, and small red and white lights glow at the side.2017-05-31
