A large seated murti, dressed in silver-white embellished garments with a red turban and an orange-and-yellow marigold garland, sits in a red and gold arched frame on a green silk-draped base. In the left foreground a man with long dark matted hair and a bare upper body, wearing an orange cloth, raises a white feather whisk toward the murti. Strings of orange flowers hang from the platform, and small red and white lights glow at the side.2017-05-31December 23 20162016-12-23A night-time outdoor photograph of a decorated deity murti in a flower-festooned shrine, glowing with warm lamplight. Marigold and white garlands drape the figure and the canopy, with hanging pink and gold tassels above. A bald man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a beaded mala around his neck, stands at left holding a long fan-like whisk near the shrine. Three onlookers in the foreground, including an older woman in a blue sari with a mala and a girl with a braid in a teal top, face the altar. The wrapped figure's appearance is a shaved-head priest in orange; the page links him to a person but his features and cues are not distinctive enough to confirm, so the identity is left unsure.2011-10-04
