A brick homa fire pit burns brightly at the centre, its bricks dusted with yellow turmeric and white powder. A hand holding a long ladle pours an offering into the flames from a copper bowl. In the foreground, a silver tray holds rice grains in white, black and red heaps, scattered with pink flower petals and grass blades, with a silver tray-stand and a bowl of rice beside it. A silver ceremonial implement with a decorated handle rests behind the pit. No people are visible apart from the hand and arm.2018-01-13January 30 20162016-01-30 +1 copiesJanuary 13 20182018-01-13Photo 11717757 +2 copiesJune 30 20162016-06-30Photo 11715450Photo 11717623 +2 copiesA homa fire burns inside a square fire pit built from stacked brown bricks, each top brick dusted with white ash-like powder and dotted with red kumkum. A silver bowl with a ladle sits on the brick rim at left, and a red-robed figure with wrists and a bracelet visible sits behind the fire, tending the flames. Scattered petals and a small potted plant appear at the right edge, and brass vessels rest at the left.2014-03-18June 04 20182018-06-04 +1 copiesPhoto 11701817 +1 copiesSeptember 15 20182018-09-15Photo 11714866 +2 copies
