A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti sits behind the fire, his right hand extended over the pit while holding a bowl of liquid. To the right, a brass pedestal holds green banana leaves, white cloth strips, coconuts decorated with red flowers, and woven baskets of offerings. Brass vessels and a small metal cup sit in the foreground beside coconut halves. Colourful striped mats cover the ground above.
