A bronze standing murti of a deity, garlanded with yellow and marigold flowers, is being poured over with a yellow liquid from a brass pot held by a shirtless man wearing a rudraksha mala. Beside him, a bald man in an orange-and-rust dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala leans forward. White metal scaffolding frames the scene, and a blurred crowd sits in the background.2016-12-03A bronze standing statue of a figure with a garland of yellow flowers around its neck is being bathed with a golden-yellow liquid poured from a brass vessel. A shirtless man with rudraksha malas and an orange-brown cloth around his waist holds the vessel high above the statue. Another person in orange-brown robes bends forward at the lower right. The metal scaffolding and a crowd of spectators sit in the background. The scene resembles an abhishekam performed on a murti.2016-12-03November 23 20162016-11-23A bronze statue of a standing figure is being bathed with a golden-yellow liquid poured from a brass pot held by a bare-chested man with rudraksha beads, who stands at right. The statue wears a garland of yellow flowers draped from shoulder to waist and rests on a raised pedestal in front of white metal scaffolding and a blurred crowd. A bald man in an orange dhoti and shawl leans over at lower right, with rudraksha malas around his neck. The scene reads as an abhishekam offering to a murti, with liquid splashing off the statue. Brass vessels sit in the foreground.2016-12-03
