Night ritual at an outdoor temple-style gathering. In the left foreground a shaved-headed man in a white dhoti with a yellow-bordered cloth and a rudraksha mala holds a silver lamp (kalasha-style vessel) with a large flame, while a crowd of devotees behind raises hands in prayer and reaches toward the fire. A large terracotta pot or fire vessel stands at right with smoke rising. Streetlights glow in the background. Devotees wear white and bright saris and bangles. Appears to be a fire offering or aarti.

Night photograph inside a temple of a lamp-lit ritual at a metal railing with an oil lamp flame in a brass tray. A man with shaved head and white forehead marks, wearing a thick pink and green flower garland and an orange-red silk shawl over a white garment, reaches toward the lamp with a hand. Behind him stand devotees, including a woman in a yellow blouse and dark bag at left, a man in an orange robe with rudraksha mala beside him, and a man in a brown kurta with folded hands. A bare-backed priest in a white dhoti with gold chain is in the right foreground, facing the lamp. The pressed-together hands and crowd suggest an aarti at the shrine.

A night-time photograph of a bright fire flaring upward from a vessel held by a man in white clothes at left, his palms pressed together in prayer. Beside him a woman in a cream sari with a red-bordered edge stands with hands folded, and other devotees, some partly in shadow, gather closely around the flame. At right, a man in an orange-yellow shirt with a light forehead mark watches the fire. The scene suggests an outdoor devotional fire offering during a procession, with the warm red and orange glow dominating the frame.

Night scene at a water-side ghat with a crowd of devotees gathered around an open flame. A shirtless man in the foreground with a rudraksha-style mala and white sacred marks on his chest presses his palms together in prayer. Beside him a bald man in white dhoti holds his hands near a burning oil lamp or fire offering, with orange cloths and garlands visible. A woman with a long braid and white cloth stands in the center facing the flame. Behind them stone steps and more people in white and orange clothing fill the background. No clear a person candidate is identifiable in this crowd, so the scene shows devotees performing a fire-lamp ritual by the water.
