Photo 11709697February 20 20172017-02-20A photograph of a temple shrine under a corrugated roof, with a deity murti and multiple figures on a golden-framed altar inside a stone-pillared structure with painted pillars and bull statues on top. In front, a crowd of devotees in white dhotis and white saris with gold borders stands behind steel rope barriers. Several children and young women in saffron and orange robes stand near the shrine, some carrying items, while a brass vessel sits on the floor in front of a white kolam design. Some devotees wear orange shawls. The setting is outdoors with trees behind the structure. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so the scene is described by roles only.2016-04-03March 14 20162016-03-14January 18 20172017-01-18Photo 11710173February 27 20162016-02-27Photo 11712990 +1 copiesA photo of devotees gathered at an open-sided shrine with a grey stone entrance and red-and-white pillars under a corrugated roof. Inside stand deity murti decorated with marigold garlands, with brass lamps and kalasha-like offerings before them. Many people wear white ritual clothing; a woman in an orange-red sari stands at the centre-right and a man in a white dhoti stands before the shrine. Saffron curtains hang at the sides, and a few people walk along the steps on the right.2010-07-22Photo 11714259May 13 20172017-05-13 +2 copiesEvening photo of devotees gathered in a open-sided pavilion before a grey stone shrine housing a deity murti in red and orange with a red curtain behind. Many people stand in rows on a mat in white dhotis, mundus and white kurtas; a man in a blue-and-white checked lungi stands at left, and a boy in a red shirt is near the centre. At right, a man in white with an orange shawl stands with his back partly turned, and a girl in white with a gold-trimmed garment stands nearby. Brass oil lamps and a brass vessel sit on the mat in the foreground, and a deity image in colour hangs above the shrine. Appears to be a puja or darshan.2007-09-21
