A night-time outdoor photo on a dark, muddy road beside a green field under a cloudy sky with a faint star. A line of about a dozen people in white dhotis and white garments stands in a loose row, several bare-chested or wearing sacred threads, while some hold red and orange umbrellas. A small white van and blue tarpaulins sit at left, with a few figures and lights behind. Blurred figures at right suggest a procession pausing on the roadside. No individual can be confidently identified, so no a person candidate is claimed.2016-09-15A night procession on a dirt road under a cloudy dark sky. Several bare-chested men in white dhotis walk in a line, some holding red-and-gold umbrellas over the central figures. Behind them, people in red and maroon robes and white clothes stand or walk, and drummers in red garments play drums on the right. The figures look upward at the sky. Greenery and a blue tarp appear at the left edge.2016-09-15February 17 20162016-02-17February 20 20162016-02-20Night procession on a dirt road with a crowd of devotees walking behind ceremonial umbrellas and decorated banners. Several men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas lead the group, one wearing a tall grey ceremonial cap. Behind them, people in white dhotis and cream clothing walk, and women in cream and yellow saris stand at the left. Two ornate umbrellas with red and gold fringes are held aloft, and a lit torch or lamp is visible near the front. Vehicles and buildings line the background under a dark sky.2010-11-21Photo 11701842September 15 20162016-09-15March 02 20162016-03-02 +2 copiesOctober 30 20162016-10-30November 05 20162016-11-05April 15 20162016-04-15March 02 20172017-03-02
