August 29 20162016-08-29Outdoor ashram scene with several devotees in orange and saffron clothing working around a large flat grey stone set into the ground beside a path of gravel and pots of small plants. A young man in an orange dhoti with a rudraksha mala leans forward to guide the stone, while a bald man in a rust-red robe with beads watches from the left. A man in an orange T-shirt printed with a portrait of a figure in orange headwear stands at right, and another man in orange looks on from the top. Leaves frame the right side of the image.2016-08-18Photo 11704663 +1 copiesApril 24 20132013-04-24April 19 20082008-04-19Photo 11705679A photo of an outdoor ground-breaking ritual at an ashram site. A central figure with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha-style mala with a pendant, stands over a freshly dug pit in red soil and gestures with both hands above a small potted sapling. Scattered flower petals lie on the earth around the pit. To the right, a younger man in orange robes and a flower garland holds a white-cloth-covered tray. Two more monastics in orange stand at left, and a figure in orange and a few white-clad people appear in the background among green trees, with a white signboard at right.2008-04-19A ritual scene at an outdoor temple-like site with a pink-painted pillar in the foreground. A bare-chested young man in orange-red cloth kneels at a shallow pit, pressing a long white-and-red pole or stake into the ground while another man in orange helps guide it. A central figure in a maroon-brown cloth wears a long white and pink flower garland, gold necklaces and a tilak on his forehead, and his hands hold the pole. Red flower petals are scattered on the pit's edge and on a striped pink-green-blue mat. Around them, several people in orange robes with rudraksha malas stand barefoot, and in the background more orange-robed devotees stand with hands joined, while a figure in white clothes with gold borders stands at the right edge.2017-10-01Photo 11704670Photo 11704668 +1 copiesOutdoor photo in a courtyard beside red-painted buildings and green shrubs. A young man in a black t-shirt with a beaded necklace grips a metal railing on the left. Several people in orange and saffron clothing work around stone blocks: a bald man in orange bends forward over a stone, a man in an orange t-shirt with a printed portrait leans in beside him, and a woman with long dark hair in an orange sari-style garment stands behind, with another figure partly visible. Orange and red beads and a silver bracelet are visible on wrists. Metal reinforcement rods frame the stones.2016-08-18 +1 copiesOutdoor ritual at a red-earth site where a young sapling stands in a freshly dug pit lined with flowers and a small clay pot. A man with long swept-back hair wears saffron-orange robes, a rudraksha-style mala and a gold-coloured ceremonial necklace, holding a small vessel and spoon while pouring liquid. Beside him a younger saffron-clad attendant holds another vessel, and a third saffron-robed young man on the right holds a white cloth and a tray. Behind them a tall orange flag and white-clad figures stand near a fence. The scene reads as a tree planting or ground-breaking blessing ceremony.2008-04-19
