Outdoor homa at a fire pit built from stacked yellow-brown bricks decorated with red flowers, with a bright flame rising in the centre. A man on the left, bare-chested with white ritual cloth, sacred ash marks and beaded necklaces, sings into a microphone. Beside the fire, a man with a bare torso and gold necklace sits behind a silver bowl, and a woman in a pink headwrap and white cloth holds pink flowers toward the fire. A standing man in grey kurta and a standing figure in orange and gold cloth stand behind. Brass pots, a woven basket of puffed grain and a blue container sit at the edges. Supporting evidence for the homa is the visible fire pit with offerings, consistent with the page's satsang-and-declaration context.2016-06-30May 15 20162016-05-15July 18 20152015-07-18Photo 11701973 +2 copiesJuly 18 20152015-07-18February 20 20162016-02-20 +1 copiesJanuary 02 20162016-01-02 +1 copiesNight outdoor homa at the Nithyanandeshwara Sadashiva Temple. A fire burns in a square pit built from stacked yellow-ochre bricks, topped with flower petals, fruit and offerings. A bearded priest in a white dhoti with a gold-and-beaded neck garland sits at the right, holding a brass bowl, while a priest in a pink-and-white turban and gold necklaces sits beside him. Behind them, many white-clad and bare-chested participants sit in rows. At left, an ornate deity murti or palanquin is decorated with red flowers, and a figure in orange robes sits nearby. A lit lamp post and palm trees appear in the background.2017-05-02July 18 20152015-07-18March 26 20162016-03-26June 30 20162016-06-30August 14 20162016-08-14
