Two men sit cross-legged on the ground, bare-chested and wearing white dhotis with saffron-marked skin. The man on the right wears a red turban, a gold necklace and a white shawl, and pours ghee from a copper vessel into the fire. The man on the left, also bare-chested with a garland, tends the fire beside him. Around them are marigold garlands, a basket of fruit, bananas, apples, a brass lamp, a bowl of kumkum and a decorated altar table with more flowers. A red wall and a tall metal frame sit behind them. Two shirtless priests sit cross-legged on striped mats behind a brick fire pit with burning flames, one wearing an orange shawl and white dhoti with a rudraksha-style bead necklace, the other wearing a red turban, white dhoti and beaded necklace. Offerings are arranged around them: heaps of yellow marigold flowers, red flower garlands, bananas, coconuts, sliced fruit, brass vessels and kalasha-style pots, and a silver-framed plate with apples and a patterned floral design. A carved wooden deity panel stands at the left edge. Two people are seen small in the distant background.2016-02-20September 28 20162016-09-28 +1 copiesPhoto 11712348
