Outdoor construction work on dry, sandy ground beside a red boundary wall and trees. A tall, rough-cut stone pillar stands upright as workers set it in fresh grey concrete. A smiling man in a white checked shirt and grey trousers holds a long iron rod leaning on the pillar. A young man in a striped purple-and-white top and dark trousers bends low, hands in the wet cement at the pillar base. A third worker in an orange-and-white striped shirt and green-checked head cloth stands at right, holding a bucket of mortar. Blue sky and loose gravel complete the scene.2016-11-19Outdoor construction site on bare sandy ground. Two men set a concrete post: a man in a white checked shirt and grey trousers holds a long iron rod and leans on the post, while a younger man in a striped purple-and-white polo and dark trousers presses his hand against the post, which is set in wet cement. A measuring tape lies coiled on the ground. Other posts stand in a line behind them, with a red fence, trees and a distant figure in the background.2016-11-19November 13 20212021-11-13November 18 20162016-11-18October 26 20162016-10-26 +1 copiesTwo men work on a sandy open ground beside a salmon-coloured multi-storey building with white-framed windows. The man in front, wearing a brown striped shirt and mustard-yellow trousers, bends forward swinging a long-handled hammer onto a slab of grey granite laid in a pile of pale sand. Behind him, a second man in a black shirt with rolled sleeves and light blue jeans stands and watches. Grey granite slabs lie scattered on the sand, and a row of orange flags and a low wall run along the background beside palm trees and a large green tree. Two cloth-wrapped bundles sit near the wall. Appears to be site preparation for paving.2016-10-28 +1 copiesTwo workers dig with hand tools in red-brown earth at a construction site. Rows of concrete column footings rise from the excavation, with exposed rebar cages standing above them. Behind them are piles of excavated soil, stone blocks and trees. The worker in front wears a white cap, pink striped shirt and dark trousers; the other wears a checked shirt and jeans.2006-12-12A construction site at a rural ashram setting with bare red-brown earth. A worker in a white shirt and grey trousers, leaning forward with a shovel, scoops soil from a trench. A second man in a blue plaid shirt, grey trousers and a white head cloth stands watching beside him. Rusted rebar rods rise from the foundation, trees and a yellow excavator sit in the background, and a hose lies across the ground. Neither man is clearly identifiable as a person.2006-12-12September 08 20162016-09-08 +1 copiesDecember 19 20092009-12-19Outdoor construction scene beside a grey stone boundary wall with red brick coping and green shrubs and trees behind. Three labourers work on a concrete or mortar strip: a man in a white shirt and grey trousers holds a long-handled trowel, a man in a checked shirt, blue-and-white lungi and red headcloth stands watching, and a shirtless man in a lungi pours from a round metal pan along a rope-guided line. Dry earth lies in the foreground. A small white plaque or stone sits atop the wall.2006-12-19August 27 20162016-08-27
