A photograph of volunteers doing manual earthwork at a construction site with red-brown soil heaps. A man in a pink-and-white striped shirt and grey trousers, with a name badge, digs with a long-handled spade and shovel. Beside him a man in a red hard hat bends to dig, while a man in a black vest with a chain stands behind, and a man in a red shirt and grey cap watches. On the right, a man in a turquoise shirt and blue turban stands looking on. Behind them is a white wire-mesh fence with concrete posts and a whitewashed wall, with a young sapling in the right background.

A photo of three boys planting saplings on bare, dry ground with scattered grass and small stones. The boy in the foreground wears a blue and white striped shirt and sandals and presses soil around a seedling with both hands. The boy at the left wears a red-and-white checked shirt and crouches over a hole beside a young plant. The third boy, in a similar checked shirt, works with a tool near a black planting bag. Thin saplings and small tree stakes stand in the background.

Workers dig a deep excavation pit of reddish-brown earth for a temple foundation. Seven men are visible in the pit and at its edges, several using long metal rods or crowbars to loosen soil and rocks. Some wear white shirts and lungis, one in a checked shirt, and several have striped or pink headcloths tied around their heads. Loose stones lie on the pit floor. A figure in a pink shirt sits at the lower right edge. No a person candidate is visible in the scene.

Workers dig a large rectangular excavation in reddish-brown soil at a construction site, cut into two tiers with steps. Several men in white shirts, checked shirts, lungi-style wraps and head cloths use spades, crowbars and hand tools; one man stands on the upper edge and another at the bottom level. Trees and shrubs stand behind the pit, and a framed portrait sits at the upper right near a red and white striped barrier. Sandals lie on the left ledge. No one is identified as a person in the scene.

Outdoor construction scene beside a grey stone boundary wall with red brick coping and green shrubs and trees behind. Three labourers work on a concrete or mortar strip: a man in a white shirt and grey trousers holds a long-handled trowel, a man in a checked shirt, blue-and-white lungi and red headcloth stands watching, and a shirtless man in a lungi pours from a round metal pan along a rope-guided line. Dry earth lies in the foreground. A small white plaque or stone sits atop the wall.

A construction site at a rural ashram setting with bare red-brown earth. A worker in a white shirt and grey trousers, leaning forward with a shovel, scoops soil from a trench. A second man in a blue plaid shirt, grey trousers and a white head cloth stands watching beside him. Rusted rebar rods rise from the foundation, trees and a yellow excavator sit in the background, and a hose lies across the ground. Neither man is clearly identifiable as a person.

A photograph of workers digging a long trench in reddish-brown earth outside a red-walled building with stacked bricks behind it. A man with long dark hair wearing an orange saffron wrap and standing barefoot on the raised spoil heap at left watches the work, with a probable Swamiji candidate showing long swept-back hair and an orange saffron wrap. Several men in striped shirts and checked lungis dig with spades and iron rods, one kneeling inside the pit, while others in lungis and white shirts stand along the trench edge.

Outdoor photo of a group digging in red-brown earth beneath a large shady tree with dense green leaves. In the centre, a man with swept-back dark hair in a black short-sleeved t-shirt and black trousers presses down on a long digging tool. Beside him, a man with light-brown hair in a blue-grey t-shirt and olive trousers works with a long metal bar. Around them, people in white dhotis and kurtas, an orange-clad figure, and a woman in a blue patterned kurta with turquoise leggings stand or work nearby. A small stack of red bricks sits in the background. Visible text in the bottom-right corner reads a copyright line.
