A devotee's hand holds a yellow turmeric-dyed coconut or kalasha-like object wrapped in yellow fibre, while another hand reaches to receive or steady it. The wrist of the receiving person bears a heavy gold bangle and a rudraksha mala, and a yellow thread is tied around the wrist. Beside them, a person in an orange-brown garment wears a long gold-beaded necklace with a pendant and a rudraksha bracelet, with white sacred ash markings on the forearm. Blurred flowers in yellow, purple and red fill the background.2013-12-25A close photograph of a hand held out palm-up in the foreground, cradling a brown husked coconut with its fibrous outer husk visible. The hand wears a white sleeve. Behind it, blurred seated figures in white clothing sit on the floor, one in a red-and-white shawl on the left, and a blurred framed image with red and orange tones stands in the background beside small decorative pots. No face of a central figure is clearly shown, so no a person candidate is established.2017-03-14 +1 copiesClose-up of a ritual exchange during a temple ceremony.
