Beside it, a gold-framed shrine holds a deity murti in a crown and jewelled ornaments, garlanded with bright multicoloured and white flower strands. A tall brass oil lamp stands between them, with brass puja vessels and potted green plants in front and dark maroon draped curtains behind. The setting suggests a temple-style puja hall.2015-06-03August 29 20142014-08-29A photograph of a stage set for a puja at an ashram hall. On the left, a seated man in orange robes and a red turban sits with hands folded in namaskar beside a golden statue of a deity pair and a painted forest backdrop. Centre stage, a golden arch frames a deity murti decorated with garlands of yellow and orange flowers and a bead necklace, seated on a golden throne. On the right, a bare-chested priest in an orange dhoti holds a lit aarti lamp toward the deity. Potted plants and rocks surround the stage, with brass oil lamps nearby.2015-02-27Temple stage scene during a Navarathri deity arati.
