A large black ox with a red-and-yellow garland and a red cloth draped over its back stands at the center, with a shallow stone trough in front. A young man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl holds a tray of offerings. Beside him a figure in ornate gold-embroidered garments and long hair, with a trident-like staff, stands near the ox. A bearded man in orange robes with a rudraksha-style mala and a gold necklace stands beside the ox. Women in orange and white saris and men in white dhotis stand behind, watching the ceremony.
