Photo 11742871A photograph of an outdoor ritual under a thatched canopy decorated with green leaves, flower garlands and strings of bright flowers. A large black ox with a red-and-yellow garland and a red cloth draped over its back stands at the center, with a shallow stone trough in front. A young man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl holds a tray of offerings. Beside him a figure in ornate gold-embroidered garments and long hair, with a trident-like staff, stands near the ox. A bearded man in orange robes with a rudraksha-style mala and a gold necklace stands beside the ox. Women in orange and white saris and men in white dhotis stand behind, watching the ceremony. Numerous people in white and orange line the background.2009-02-23January 16 20152015-01-16January 16 20122012-01-16October 08 20072007-10-08 +1 copiesDecember 19 20102010-12-19January 16 20122012-01-16A photograph of a temple courtyard ritual. In the foreground a bald man in saffron-orange robes holds a round silver tray of lit oil lamps and offerings, with flames burning on the tray. Beside him a white cow with painted yellow-and-red markings on its horns and body stands near a second white bull, and several bare-chested men in white dhotis and a man in white clothing stand behind them under a shaded area. A decorated sign and small shrine elements are visible in the background. The orange-robed man appears to be a priest performing an aarti with the cows present, but his appearance does not clearly match the page's a person claim, so he is described by role only.2022-03-27KAILASA FAMILIA PORTUGUESA, PORTUGAL on 1/15/20182018-01-15 +1 copiesFeb 22 2022 sripuramKAILASA FAMILIA PORTUGUESA, PORTUGAL on 1/15/20182018-01-15 +1 copiesDecember 19 20102010-12-19
