She has her hand on the calf's head and appears to be offering care or gosewa. Behind her a black-and-white cow stands tied to a bamboo frame, and a clay pot hangs from the roof beam. A mud wall, a heap of dung and a tree sit beyond the shed under a pale sky.2021-12-29Indoor cowshed at night under a corrugated metal roof. A brown cow with yellow-marked horns and a green cloth draped over its back eats a pile of green grass in the foreground. Three women stand nearby: one in a yellow sari, one with a shaved head in white ritual cloth with an orange border, and one in an orange-red sari with rudraksha mala and gold necklace who holds her hands over the grass feeding the cow. A small deity murti with a brass lamp sits on a red-draped stand against a red wall.2022-07-21Feb 4 2022 sripuram2022-02-04A woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha-style beaded necklace and a bindi stands in a covered cowshed, offering fodder to two cows. She holds a small bundle of green grass near a woven basket of greens and grain, while a spotted black-and-white cow with curved horns eats from it and a brown-and-white calf stands beside her. Behind her is a golden shrine canopy with a red wall, and a few other cattle are visible in the background, consistent with a go seva offering.Jan 5 2022 sripuram2022-01-05Two women in a covered cowshed perform gau puja with palms pressed together in namaste. The cow in the foreground is draped with a green and gold shawl and has marigold garlands on its back. On the right, a woman in a pink and red silk saree with gold border stands before a small altar holding a framed portrait of a figure in saffron robes, decorated with red and orange flower garlands, a brass lamp and a gold-bordered red cloth. Concrete feeding troughs and other cattle surround the scene.2022-01-05
