On a raised wooden platform, a seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits on an orange-draped seat under a decorated umbrella with colourful fringe, flanked by ritual brass lamps and flower garlands. Nearby, several people in white ritual clothes sit on the platform and ground, and a woman in an orange sari tends brass items. A sculpted rock with a painted serpent-like form and pink flower offerings lies in the foreground. Several people are visible seated under the tree, with a woman in a teal blouse and white dhoti-style cloth at left.2005-07-21Photo 11734722A crowded outdoor ritual scene in front of a large black stone Nandi bull statue draped with red, white and yellow flower garlands, set on a red platform beside red-walled shrine buildings with corrugated roofs and palm trees. Many devotees, mostly women, sit closely packed on the ground in cream, white and gold saris and orange clothing, many wearing rudraksha malas and kumkum or bindi marks. A monk in orange robes sits in the foreground with a mala, and a bald man in white stands on the far left of the shrine area. Several figures move among the seated crowd, and a robed attendant stands in the background near the shrine.2017-09-27February 05 20162016-02-05January 22 20142014-01-22 +1 copiesAugust 18 20162016-08-18
