At centre, a figure with long hair and saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala sits beneath a large multicoloured decorated canopy on a tall pole. Around him, many people in orange and saffron shawls and white clothes sit and stand on a dark ground, some drinking from bottles and some holding cloth. A small illuminated shrine-like structure with a lit lamp stands at upper left. The figure's cues are visible but his face is too small for certainty, so the identity is uncertain.2005-05-25November 21 20102010-11-21January 03 20082008-01-03March 02 20162016-03-02 +2 copiesA procession walks along a dirt road beside a concrete wall. Several decorated umbrellas in orange, blue and multicolour fringed designs are held above the group. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe walks at the front, with men in white dhotis and orange shawls around them. Some devotees wear white kurtas and one child in white walks among the group. A man on the left holds a long pole or staff near the umbrella bearers. The scene suggests a ceremonial return procession.2007-12-07December 01 20122012-12-01Night procession on a sandy path with a decorated, illuminated palanquin or ratha carrying a deity murti under a colourful multi-coloured canopy. Several onlookers stand at the edges, including a woman in a green shawl in the left foreground with her back to the camera.2011-12-05A procession on a dirt road between a concrete block wall and palm trees. Front centre, a tall man in a saffron-orange robe and sandals walks with a long-haired man in a saffron shawl on his shoulders, with a bare-headed man in white beside them. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and saffron or orange shawls follow, some with white shirts. On the left, young girls and boys in white dresses and white clothing walk, one girl wearing a beaded necklace. Several colourful umbrellas with red, blue and yellow panels and fringed edges are carried overhead, marking a ritual procession.2007-12-07October 04 20112011-10-04
