A photograph of a temple blessing scene under a corrugated metal roof. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha-style beaded mala and a gold chain places a hand on the head of a man in a grey-striped shirt who bows forward. Beside them a bald man in white with an orange shawl holds a brass tray or vessel. Behind, a priest in white with a tilak stands near a deity murti under a decorated canopy, and a woman in a pink top watches. a person (in_person candidate) is the saffron-clad figure with long swept-back hair and a gold necklace giving the blessing.2010-09-01A temple shrine courtyard where a shaven-headed man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with rudraksha malas, stands at left holding a flower or offering over the head of a man in white kurta and white pants who bends forward with bowed head. Several women stand in a line behind them: one in a saffron sari near the centre, one in a purple top and white pants wearing a garland of orange flowers, a younger girl in white, and women in a teal kurta and a pink top. Behind them a deity murti in a painted shrine niche with orange and green drapery, orange marigold garlands, and a red-and-white painted railing. This appears to be a padapuja, a ritual foot-worship in which devotees are received at a temple.2011-08-19 +1 copiesOctober 07 20112011-10-07 +1 copiesAugust 17 20102010-08-17July 14 20112011-07-14December 01 20102010-12-01Photo 11684236Outdoor temple entrance with a golden-yellow wooden door framed by pillars and hanging flower garlands, some red. A central man in saffron-orange robes and a long marigold garland is welcomed by several men: a bare-chested priest in saffron dhoti applying a mark on his forehead with a raised hand, a priest in saffron dhoti holding a small kalasha-like object, men in white dhotis and shirts pressing hands together in greeting, and a man in pink shirt standing behind. Visible people: about six or seven. Whether the garlanded man is a person cannot be determined from appearance alone.2012-09-11July 31 20102010-07-31August 23 20112011-08-23A photograph of a temple entrance with yellow and red garlands hanging on the walls. A man in the centre wears an orange-saffron shawl, a thick marigold and red-flower garland over his shoulders, and a smiling expression, while people around him in orange robes and white dhotis hold garlands and a ceremonial staff topped with red flowers. A man on the right in a white shirt holds a yellow garland. A man in a white dhoti stands at left. The centre figure has a distinctive appearance and is described by the page as a person; his cues include a saffron shawl and ceremonial garlands, so this is an appearance-based probable identification.2012-09-11A photograph of a devotional gathering outdoors under a leafy tree with an orange umbrella overhead. A woman in an orange sari sits on a striped mat, receiving a long white and red flower garland, while a young man in a white kurta with an orange shawl kneels beside her. Behind them, several men in white kurtas and white dhotis stand watching, some wearing lanyards, and women in red and teal saris stand at the left. No one in the scene is identified as a person.
